TERMS & CONDITIONS

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the DLP COMMUNICATIONS LLC website and the general provision of information, consultations, products, technology solutions, and services by DLP COMMUNICATIONS LLC (“DLP Communications,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By using this website, submitting an inquiry, requesting a consultation, or purchasing products or services from us, you acknowledge these Terms. Additional terms contained in a written proposal, work order, service agreement, monitoring agreement, financing agreement, or other signed agreement may also apply.

SERVICES
DLP Communications provides technology consulting, systems integration, security technology, video surveillance, access control, communications and connectivity solutions, installation, system upgrades, monitoring solutions, technical support, and related residential and commercial services.
Availability of particular products or services may vary by location, project requirements, equipment availability, licensing requirements, and other circumstances.

CONSULTATIONS, ESTIMATES & PROPOSALS
Information provided through this website is general in nature and does not constitute a binding proposal or guarantee of pricing.
Project recommendations, equipment specifications, installation requirements, pricing, payment schedules, and completion estimates may be provided separately in a written estimate, proposal, work order, or service agreement.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, estimates and proposals may be subject to change based upon site conditions, customer-requested modifications, equipment availability, additional labor requirements, taxes, permits, shipping, or other circumstances affecting the project.

EQUIPMENT & ORDERS
Equipment recommendations are based upon information reasonably available at the time of consultation or system design.
Product availability, specifications, models, features, and pricing may change. When necessary, comparable equipment may be proposed subject to customer approval when required.
Ownership of equipment is subject to the applicable purchase, financing, lease, or service agreement.

INSTALLATION & IMPLEMENTATION
Customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to the property and areas necessary to perform authorized work.
Installation may require drilling, mounting, cabling, network configuration, equipment placement, or other reasonable modifications associated with the project.
Additional work resulting from previously undisclosed site conditions, customer-requested changes, inaccessible areas, construction conditions, electrical or network deficiencies, or other circumstances outside the original scope may result in additional charges with customer authorization where required.

MONITORING & RECURRING SERVICES
Certain security, alarm, communications, technology, or related services may include recurring monitoring, support, connectivity, cloud, software, or third-party services.
Specific monthly charges, service periods, renewal provisions, cancellation requirements, and other conditions will be disclosed in the applicable service or monitoring agreement.
Monitoring and communications may depend upon third-party networks, internet service, cellular service, utilities, equipment, and monitoring providers that may be outside the direct control of DLP Communications.

PAYMENT TERMS
Customers agree to pay all charges authorized under the applicable estimate, proposal, invoice, work order, or service agreement.
Depending upon the project or service selected, payment arrangements may include upfront payment, deposits, progress payments, recurring monthly payments, automatic payments, financing, or other agreed payment arrangements.
Applicable taxes, permit charges, shipping charges, third-party charges, and other authorized expenses may be added where appropriate.

AUTOMATIC & RECURRING PAYMENTS
When a customer voluntarily enrolls in automatic or recurring payments, the customer authorizes charges according to the applicable payment authorization and service agreement.
The amount and frequency of recurring charges will be disclosed before authorization. Customers should maintain current payment information throughout any applicable service period.

SERVICE OPTIONS & AGREEMENTS
Depending upon the services selected, DLP Communications may offer month-to-month services, upfront-purchase arrangements, or longer-term service agreements, including 3-year or 5-year options.
The availability and exact terms of these options may vary by customer, service, equipment, promotion, and project.
Where a separate written service agreement exists, that agreement controls with respect to pricing, duration, renewals, cancellation rights, early termination charges, equipment ownership, and other specific contractual provisions.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Customers are responsible for providing accurate project and contact information, maintaining appropriate electrical power and internet or communications services when required, using equipment according to manufacturer instructions, maintaining passwords and access credentials, and promptly notifying DLP Communications of known problems affecting supported systems.
Customers must not use products or services for unlawful purposes.

THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS & SERVICES
Certain solutions may incorporate products or services manufactured, hosted, monitored, financed, supported, or otherwise provided by independent third parties.
Third-party products and services may be subject to separate warranties, licenses, privacy policies, terms of service, subscription charges, or other conditions established by those providers.

WARRANTIES
Any applicable equipment warranty may be provided by the manufacturer or other applicable provider.
Any workmanship or service warranty provided directly by DLP Communications will be stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, work order, or service agreement.
Except as expressly provided in writing and to the extent permitted by applicable law, no additional warranties are created by information appearing on this website.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Technology and security systems are intended to assist customers but cannot guarantee that loss, theft, intrusion, equipment failure, network interruption, property damage, or other events will never occur.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DLP Communications will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising solely from use of this website.
Liability relating to purchased equipment, installation, monitoring, security services, or other contracted services will be governed by the applicable written customer agreement and applicable law.

CANCELLATIONS & TERMINATION
Cancellation policies depend upon the product or service purchased.
Month-to-month services, equipment purchases, special-order equipment, installation projects, monitoring agreements, and fixed-term service agreements may have different cancellation requirements.
Any applicable cancellation notice, refund eligibility, restocking charge, early termination charge, or remaining contractual obligation will be governed by the customer's applicable written agreement and applicable law.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise indicated, DLP Communications' business name, branding, website content, graphics, photographs, text, and other original materials appearing on this website may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially used without permission, except as permitted by law.

WEBSITE USE
Users may not intentionally interfere with the operation or security of this website, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent information, introduce malicious software, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

PRIVACY
Information submitted through this website is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy for additional information regarding collection and use of information.

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms will be governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
DLP Communications may update these Terms periodically. Revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
Changes will not retroactively alter the terms of an existing signed customer agreement unless permitted by that agreement and applicable law.
